Brett Brown, 2009 President of the Naples Area Board of Realtors and 2010 Vice Chair of the NAR Resort and Second Home Committee, will lead you through the process of taking control of your local media and being the source of the housing market in your area. With Brett's helpful hints you will be able to "Overcome Obstacles with the Media.


With over 30 years in real estate sales, training, management and consulting, Roseann Farrow personally has trained and coached thousands of real estate agents, managers and brokers who are lifted by her passion, humor, high energy and dedication to the industry.  A New York State Licensed Real Estate Broker, a National REBAC trainer, and a ‘Master Instructor’ at the NY State Association of REALTORS®, she devotes full-time efforts to independent training, coaching and consulting nationwide as Roseann Farrow Seminars. Join Roseann for her session, "Building Your Resort Business" on Day 2 of the Symposium.


Steve Goddard,
GRI, ABR, CIPS, CRS, PMN, SRES is the 2009 President of the California Association of REALTORS. Steve will update the attendees of the California Housing Market on the first day of the Symposium.

Linda A Rheinberger
, MBA, ABR, CRS, PMN, SRES, 2010 President of the Nevada Association of REALTORS, will report on the latest market update in the state on the first day of the Symposium.

Carl Ribaudo is President and Founder of Strategic Marketing Group, a leading tourism industry consulting firm located in South Lake Tahoe that provides strategic marketing, competitive strategy and technology services. Carl is a great asset to the segment called: Tourism Trends on the second day of programming.


Leslie Appleton-Young
is Vice President and Chief Economist for the California Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R.), a statewide trade organization with almost 175,000 members dedicated to the advancement of professionalism in real estate. Leslie will present an overview of Tahoe Transactions.


Lawrence Yun is Chief Economist and Senior Vice President of Research at the National Association of Realtors®. He regularly appears on CNBC, BBC, Bloomberg TV, and is often quoted in other media . Yun is also a frequent speaker at Real Estate conferences throughout the United States and abroad. In March 2008, USA Today listed him among the top 10 economic forecasters in the country.

Yun has been with NAR since 2000. Prior to that, he worked as an economic consultant to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the U.S. Department of Education. While a research associate at the University of Maryland for three years, Yun developed the graduate economics curriculum for and taught free market economics in the former Soviet Union as that country transitioned from communism to a free-market system.

Yun was born in South Korea. He received his Mechanical Engineering degree from Purdue University. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Maryland. He, his wife Alla, and son James live in Arlington, Virginia.
